Tapia Figueiras architects, was founded in 2010. During this time this team has developed several projects and it has joined in numerous national and international architectural competitions. The team has been honored with several awards: First prize for the Museum and Archaeological Park Dosa Ideas International Competition, in Villaputzu , Sardinia (Italy); Second Prize for the construction of the Auditorium "Park San Francisco" in Puerto de la Cruz (Spain); Third prize in the international architectural competition for the governmental historic and cultural complex on the grounds of the former order castle Königsberg in Kaliningrad (“Post-Castle”), Shortlisted for the design of a cultural center of Jesus in Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza (Spain); Honorable mention in the international competition for the extension of the Gösta Serlachius Museum in Mänttä (Finland); Honorable mention in the competition for the rehabilitation and extension of the Fregenal de la Sierra’s Hotel (Spain); Finalist in the competition for the improvement of the pilgrimage point in the French Camino de Santiago (Spain); Finalist in the architectural competition for the Neanderthal Center in Piloña (Spain), Finalist in the architectural competition for the National Museum of Sculpture in Leganes (Spain). Finally, the team has also been awarded for the quality of his built work, as the “Arquitectura en Positivo” and the “Procesos Arquitectónicos” by the CSCAE for its Juncal’s House Project in Salamanca (Spain).
